In the Winter you could experience the magic of the Northern Lights "aurora borealis". Take advantage of the dry snow where the wind doesn't blow in the bush while you enjoy the ulitmate experience of dog sledding or snow shoeing. The Rendezvous festival is held in February. This is when Yukoners celebrate the end of winter, while taking in some of the most unique entertainment offered anywhere. Some entertainers include the Kapital Kickers; Can Can dancers; Barbershop quartet; Key Stone Kops; Snow Shoe Shufflers and many more!
In the Summer experience the uniqueness of the midnight sun, where the sun never sets. Take advantage of the long days to extend your group functions while allowing time for fun activities. Go gold panning, camping, Rent an ATV, canoe, hike or tour the historical landmarks.
Visit the communities where each offers some hisotircal uniqueness to astound you and photograph. Arrange a tour to compliment your event such as visiting the Wild life park, Beringia Center, museums or Takhini Hot Springs.
